One thing the 2014 State of the Union Proved: Obama Cares for Big Corporations.

It's great when Liberals claim that fiscal Conservatives love big corporations and hate poor people. Somehow they associate fiscal Conservatism with supporting big business. Conservatives often support bills that deregulate businesses, therefore they somehow support large corporations?

Despite having argued in the past that deregulation eliminates costs for small businesses which causes them to gain market share and therefore create a less monopolized market place, Conservatives are still being attacked by Liberals for holding these fiscal values. Even though the idea that deregulation helps corporations more than small businesses is completely unfounded, fiscal Conservatives are still given this image.

I will not get into the economics of why fiscal Conservatives are a big corporation's worst nightmare, but I will tell you exactly why the Liberal politicians are a corporation's best friend.

During the 2014 State of the Union address, Obama specifically listed corporations that he is working with the get resources for education. "Working with" is really just code for "pumping money into".

Here are his exact words.
With the support of the FCC and companies like Apple, Microsoft, Sprint, and Verizon, we’ve got a down payment to start connecting more than 15,000 schools and twenty million students over the next two years...
In the past, Obama claimed that the "rich" and the corporations should hold more tax burden. He claimed that they should pay more, while the poor should pay nothing. These corporations that are supposed to be generating a lot of his tax revenue are actually gaining money from the government? Shocking!

Here's a fiscally Conservative thought... what if a school wanted to buy tablets running Android from a smaller technology company? One that is not Apple or Microsoft. What if they wanted to support a company that did not have the market share that Apple has? Wouldn't that be a great way to lessen the income gap and lessen Apple's monopoly on the market? Heck yeah it would! Instead, the government are using our middle class tax dollars to pump into some of the largest corporations in the US.

Understand the hypocrisy here. Democrats run on the platform that they will take money from the rich, and pump it into the poor. We won't argue here about why wealth distribution does not work, (I've done that elsewhere on this blog) but instead try to understand the Liberal message. Take money from the super rich corporations and give it to the poor right? That's what they claim to do. They claim that the income gap is caused by corporate greed.

But who are we kidding? They pump more money into corporations than they take out. BY FAR. So where does the money come from? The middle class. The government takes money from the middle class in the form of taxes, and pump it into whatever they want. The poor are taking more money out than they are putting in, and the super rich corporations are being pumped full of money as well.

That is the income gap right there. Government putting its hands into our pockets. The only way to solve the income gap is to enlarge the middle class. The only way to enlarge the middle class is to stop forcing them to pay all their money to other people. Seems pretty obvious to me, but maybe that's just the fiscal Conservatism talking.

Not only is the middle class bearing the tax burden, but they are trying to be successful in a free market that is anything but a free market. How can a technology start-up gain market share if the government is pumping their small business earnings into the competition (Apple and Microsoft)? If small business ownership is truly the American dream, then the government needs to stop preventing healthy competition. They need to stop picking winners and losers, because that just causes more monopolies and less economic surplus.

If you're a US citizen, you should be just as worked up about this as I am. The government is the cause of the income gap, small business failure, and corporate monopoly. Anybody who supports big government hands reaching into our pockets is to blame for the income gap, small business failure, and corporate monopolies.

Spread the word. ObamaCares a little too much for corporations.
